Let's take a step back

Let's take a step back

We talk a lot about products here - how to use them, which one is better for your skin type, what's new, etc but with the interest towards natural beauty products constantly, and I would say rapidly, increasing, so is the offering on the market.

Which is a good thing, right? The more, the merrier.

But sometimes I feel lost. And angry too.

We used to have greenwashing.

You know where a company would claim their products are natural but would sneak in fragrances or another synthetic ingredient in their products. And if you read the labels and the information on the company's website, you could spot it. It's not easy but you could do it.

Now we have something called "clean beauty". And that's troubling me.

And it should be troubling you too because this is something you can't read on the label. This is about integrity and quality of both products and ingredients.

The price you pay stays the same but the quality you get goes down.

This week I read a great article called "What Real Natural Beauty Brands Want You to Know About Big Beauty".

If you ever intend on buying a natural product, no matter where, I urge you to read this article.

And since Reina Organics is a home of Eco Chic brands, here's what we mean by "eco chic".

Here's how I select brands for Reina Organics, in case you missed it.

I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
