The holidays are coming

The holidays are coming

The holidays are coming.

Christmas is only 29 days away and for us in Holland only 9 days separate us from the celebration of Sinterklaas which here is bigger than Christmas.

I don’t really need to remind you of all that.

Black Friday deals have been flooding my inbox, probably yours too, from the beginning of the month (who knows maybe next year we’ll start the summer with them?) and these offers will gradually turn into a mix of gift guides and Christmas offers.

This year however I chose for Reina Organics not to participate in the holiday offerings, be it Black Friday, Cyber Monday or Christmas.

Instead we will donate 5% from every order (instead of the usual 1%) placed between 20 November and 31 December to support children in need in Bulgaria.

The simplest way to explain why this year we will “only” donate money without any offer to our clients is that for me the holiday season is about giving. Giving from the heart and giving unconditionally.

Having an offer at the same time while donating a higher percentage feels like tricking you to give.

If you would like to join us, that would be amazing! If you choose not to, that’s cool too.

Enjoy the holidays!

P.S. Here you can read why we donate to children in need in Bulgaria.

P.P.S If you know who made this image, please let us know so we can give them proper credit.

For a very long time, over two years now, I have been trying hard to bend reality and make two separate interests of mine blend – empowering beauty and women empowerment. While the two have something in common, they remain two separate things.

This year has almost come to an end. Many people are busy with New Year’s resolutions. Others are reviewing the past year. Some are busy with both. Here's something which I believe most of us forget.
